PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The Senior Fellow-Policy Analyst will be a critical member of the Policy Unit within the DPPI at the MoH. The Senior Fellow’s primary responsibility will be to conduct thorough research, engage with stakeholders, and provide evidence-based recommendations to shape the MoH’s health polices and strategies, including the digital health policy agenda. The Senior Fellow-Policy Analyst will play a crucial role in shaping the MoH’s approach to health policy, strategies and legislations development, ensuring alignment with national and international standards, and fostering the integration of health policies, strategies, data, health information management systems, and digital technologies to enhance comprehensive life stages approach patient-centred healthcare service delivery and population health outcomes.
Qualifications and Experience:
Desirable:
- Highly qualified female or male, strong preference for female
- Sierra Leonean (local or from the diaspora)
Expectations: (Candidates may have a combination of some or all of the following attributes)
- A master’s or PhD degree in public health, health policy, health economics, health informatics, political science or a related field.
- Extensive experience (3-5 years+) in health policy analysis, development, and leadership roles.
