The maiden National Health Summit 2022 which commenced on Thursday, 7th April at the Bintumani Conference Centre in Freetown will continue for the next two days. His Excellency, Dr. Julius Maada Bio officially opened this epoch-making occasion.
The principal essence of the Summit is to bring together local and international health practitioners/stakeholders to garner ideas, identify challenges, and suggest corresponding solutions for transforming healthcare delivery towards Universal Health Coverage.
Presentations from various directorates within the ministry (inclusive of current status, achievements, challenges and opportunities) and external experts formed key activities on day one.
